Fitbit Versa 2: the new Fitbit smartwatch, now with voice recognition and the ability to interact with Alexa

With the beginning of the new course, good intentions also come in terms of moving more, doing more sports or even losing those kilos that we may have taken during the summer. To help us with these new healthy goals, Fitbit has launched its new Fitbit Versa 2 watch.

Fitbit Versa 2: now with voice recognition

For the first time, Fitbit incorporates a microphone in one of its smart watches, allowing us to interact with Alexa, Amazon's voice assistant, through voice commands. Alexa will respond in writing on the screen of Fitbit Versa 2 to our questions, and we can also control the smart devices of our home through the clock.

The registration and analysis of sleep also has news in the Fitbit Versa 2. When we wake up every morning we will get a "score of our dream" based on our heart rate, in the analysis of the moments in which we reveal ourselves, in the time we spend awake and in the different phases of our sleep.

In addition, Fitbit Versa 2 also incorporates a smart alarm or Smart Wake (which will also be incorporated into the other watches of the brand), which will wake us up at the optimum moment within our sleep cycle (and within a time interval designated by us, of course).

The variation of oxygen volume and night mode, with which we can turn off notifications and screen at night, are the other additions to this new device.

Music, sport and more in the Fitbit Versa 2

The Fitbit Versa 2 maintains the most important functions of the previous Versa models: we can access music from Spotify and Deezer from our wrist (it works with a subscription system to these platforms), perform physical exercise guided by our watch and also pay in different establishments thanks to Fitbit Pay.

It also maintains the female health monitoring through its own app and the possibility to download third-party apps. When exercising, it should be remembered that the Fitbit Versa 2 does not have a GPS system, but use our phone, so we will have to go running with both devices if we want to have a reliable positioning.

The Fitbit Versa 2 is already available in presale on its website at a price of 199.95 euros in three colors: black with carbon-colored box, rose petal with copper-pink aluminum case, and stone gray with fog-gray box.

The special edition of the Fitbit Versa 2 is available by € 229.95 in navy blue and pink with copper pink aluminum case, and gray with fog gray box.
